Abstract painting in Photoshop

The last time I did a painting of any kind was over a decade ago I think. Suck. Good thing we live in the future; I didn't have to invest in a ton of materials. Instead I dusted off my Wacom tablet and fired up Photoshop. Eventually I'll get some real painting done, but until then this a interesting way to get back in the saddle. Also, thanks to layers I can get 3 paintings out of one effort: Click to embiggen: abstract-022708-thumb.png Original abstract-color-022708-thumb.png Minus outline layer abstract-lines-022708-thumb.png Outline only (this part was painted first) If anybody would like a huge version let me know.

    Wow, that’s really cool!

  2. Thanks Kangmin. Out of curiosity, which do you like the best? Also, would you be interested in being interviewed for a podcast?

I really like the third one, but I think seeing the three in that order has something to do with it. I know nothing about art and can’t really explain it…

Sure, I’d totally be up for that!
