Today at the Santa Barbara Farmer’s Market the herb stand guy sold his wares in these:

Self dissolving grass planting pot

You can just drop these pots made of pressed grass into soil: no re-potting required, no plastic pot to throw away. It’s great when eco-friendly products outperform plastic alternatives.

    Did you find a source for these? I’ve not seen them before.

  2. Sorry, I didn’t get a source. They may be peat or coir, but the ones I saw seemed more like grass. If I see the herb guy again I’ll ask.
