I drew this while doing a year abroad of undergrad in London. Like most college experiences it was still "day care for 19 year olds", but we could travel (and drink) unsupervised.
During this time I was doing a lot of drawings with metal nib ink dipping pens. I couldn't find any pencil lines so I must have done this Terminator-esque guy freehand. What I like about him is the weird jammed-in-the-corner diagonal composition and the texture in all the pipes, joints, and armor plates.

Great drawing! I remember that one from London
Crazy that you remember that, it was so long ago. Maybe it’s hard to forget when somebody sets up all these inks and crazy pens in the kitchen. Today I would never be able to get through security with so many metal nibs.
