Sketch exercises 2-4
Excercise two from Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain is to draw a person without any reference. This one wasn't very good. I did it right after exercise one, and it feels much different to draw from your head instead of what you see.
Next up, draw your own hand while looking at it. This one was OK, but a bit flat.
Excercise four was to draw a chair. I did this one a few days after the hand exercise. It has better depth, but, like the hand, it looks better as a thumbnail.
So far I've learned I do better with around and where it's quiet. Jazz or classical are good to listen to at a low volume, but anything with lyrics makes the left brain step all over the right brain.
Maybe this is why it's a struggle to get into a creative flow with graphic design. All the words in a design keep the left brain in charge.

I’m a second year communication student who likes drawing. I like the features that used by catoonist to reveals their views or prediction about our society through catoon. I often tempted to draw it even through I’m not an expect on it. Should you help me find axactly way of drawing something from my own mind rather than praising other people’s work.
All you can do is practice. Draw *a lot*, and compare your earlier work with newer work so you can see progress and where you need to improve.
